Resistance (Weights) Training
Why resistance train?
• Build muscle strength (Toning) - Look Good!
• As we get older (25+) our
muscle fibres start to decline. Resistance training slows this
process down even reversing aging by building muscle mass
(strength).
• Increase bone density which reduces risk of bone fractures in falls etc.
• (Aiding Fat Loss) Higher
percentage of one's lean muscle mass increases one's
resting metabolism allowing us to burn more calories at
rest!
• There is no age limit on when we can stop building muscle!
