Here at Wickedbodz, we like to EDUCATE our clientele, not only in the physical aspects of a healthy lifestyle, but also share our knowledge of nutrition and help put together a permanent healthy eating structure. We do not believe in fad diets, there are no short-cuts when it comes to dieting whether it be for weight loss or gain.

Wickedbodz is a results driven facility. We guarantee our clients results. We always give our clients 110% towards achieving their goals.

Because we have absolute faith in our knowledge and ability at Wickedbodz, unlike most personal trainers we have no lock-in contracts or joining fees.



The Team -

Mark Mathie - Owner / Trainer

Mark has been in the fitness industry for 20+ years receiving his first qualifications from Network Australia in Sydney NSW.  Mark started his career as a professional rugby league player until after several years his career was cut short by 3 knee reconstructions. During this time Mark was lucky enough to be mentored and work along side many of Australia's leading fitness professionals.

In 2002 Mark accepted a contract to work in one of the UK's most exclusive Health Clubs located in Kensington London. During the next 4 years Mark travelled the globe training his A list clientele ranging from sporting stars, world renowned models, actors and personalities. Mark continues to train and present some of Australia's elite sports people, personalities and business leaders on the Gold Coast.

In 2005 Mark decided to leave the jet set lifestyle and return to Australia. Mark chose the Gold Coast as the most fitting destination to start the next chapter of his journey in the fitness Industry opening Wickedbodz First Class Personal Training Studio.

Throughout his fitness journey Mark has continued his study staying up to date with latest innovations in sports science, nutrition and fitness. He has become qualified in many sectors of the industry learning from the best in the fitness Industry throughout the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. Mark uses this knowledge to design individual training programs for his clients to meet their varied goals. He has also used this knowledge to design the Gold Coasts most  Revolutionary Group Training format with his Fastlane50 classes that any fitness enthusiast should give a go.


James Matolich - Trainer

James has been working in the health and fitness industry for 5 years and has undergone his own personal fitness journey losing an amazing 25kgs. As James was changing his life through health and fitness he decided he wanted to help others reach their own personal goals incorporating the lessons he has learnt from his own personal experiences.

Prior to personal training James was a chef for 10 years, with this he has been able to create his own healthy and tasty menu's making it easier for his clients to stick to a healthy diet.

Specialising in Thai Boxing, Boxing and Strength & Conditioning, James has spent a lot of time overseas training and even lived in Thailand for 4 months training and competing in Thai Boxing.

Working at Wickedbodz for 1.5 years now James says he loves the atmosphere the gym brings and how everybody works together as a team, it's a very personal gym there's no egos which can be hard to find these days.


Veronica Wallington - Trainer

Vee has been involved in fitness throughout her life. Starting at a young age as an elite runner working up the ranks to professional level with a world ranking of top 3 podium finishes for various events.

Vee lived and trained in the USA post high school working with some of the best coach and training staff in the sport of Track and Distance Running. A few injuries and set backs eventually took its toll and Vee decided to turn her own dedication to sport and fitness into a career as a Personal Trainer helping others achieve their athletic goals.  Vee now enjoys coaching the everyday athlete to be the best version of themselves through physical fitness and activity. She is an advocate for functional training and encourages a well rounded approach to her training programs.

 Vee owns and still managers from afar her own gym in Sydney - P.E.Dept Gym; and also hosts Fitness Retreats throughout the year in Bali via her co founding businesses, www.fitmissretreats.com!

Vee is nutritionally certified and believes that without nutrition guidance, you really are only half way there. Whether it be for athletic competition, sport specific training, running performance, body composition, fat loss or muscle gain - Vee can and will help.
